About Us

Fashion Technology and Fine Arts, an integral part of the Faculty of Visual and Performing Arts at Guru Kashi University since its establishment in 2016, has experienced significant growth with a current student enrolment of 207 in a short time.
The department takes pride in its commitment to nurturing and innovating, evident in the development of new need-based programs. Offering a range of courses, including B.Sc., M.Sc. Fashion Technology, Bachelor of Fine Arts, and Master of Arts in Fine Arts, the department attracts students who find these programs highly appealing.
Dedicated to excellence across diverse disciplines, the Department of Fashion Technology and Fine Arts emphasizes critical and creative thinking, effective communication, problem-solving, and community engagement. It serves as a collaborative space where artists converge to modernize and sustain art, culture, and creativity, providing abundant opportunities for those with artistic inclinations to refine and showcase their skills.
Moreover, the department, housed within the Faculty of Visual and Performing Arts, imparts comprehensive training in dress designing, draping, stitching, embroidery, and other garment-making skills. This skill-based practical education is facilitated by state-of-the-art facilities, including a Boutique and an Art Gallery, Incubation centre, further enriching the learning experience for students.
